First stop is the MTVU party at the compound. We hosted the VIP’s and the interviews were conducted in the back.

Gina and I negotiating times.

Buddy from the band BUDDY.

I belive her name is Laura but I could be wrong. She is however the owner and/or operator of THE COMPOUND and a really cool person.

ROOT DOWN in LA is one of those things you can count on. This guy helps it happen.

We walked down the block to our friend Natty’s place FASTFOLKS.

Inside there is a mural project by FAILURE.

El dog.

After kicking it on the Eastside for the afternoon we head to Austin Music Hall to pick up DEAD PREZ, DJ GREEN LANTERN and hella entourage form sound check for the GHETTO METAL SHOWCASE.

This would be MATT SONZALA who is the man with the plan for Hip Hop and Rap during SXSW chilling with COLDCHRIS.

After scooping everyone up we head over to the FADER FORT again for Green Lantern’s set. Along the way we all chill and everyone gets or buys shirts.

Backstage at the Ghetto Metal Showcase just after BUN B’s set.

BAZAAR ROYALE did his thing. It really was ghetto metal. I don’t usually dig the hybrid sound but both components were so strong it made for an excellent show.

Most of these photos are courtesy of DJ DARKO.

Meanwhile on the bus…

You owe us sushi at IMPERIA, now. DJ/SUSHI CHEF TATS.

I cannot remeber doods name but he did a bangin lil set with Green Lantern to open up Dead Prez. And he really loved our shirts.

MATT SONZALA again. If you were this guy your hair would be grey. His blog is really important and has some more great shots of this and many other shows during SXSW. Checkitout@ AUSTINSURREAL

SARAH CERKIEL is an amazing friend who I don’t get to see enuff of but when I do it’s always interesting.

This is why I do it. How delicious does this photo look? That shirt is dope.

MR. “I’m from Austin” Go to guy for whatever you need.

Chris and Chris. Chris Nagy is that dood. Former owner of GoodVibes Records out of Los Angeles he is now the publisher of FRANK151 Magazine. He also answered the question,”what’s the name of that one Hugh Grant movie?—Knotting Hill!” really fast. Whoa, man! Knowledge! HAHA
Anyway, shows over. Let’s go catch the Badu show at the RedBull Party.

Dan Petruzzi, brand director for OKAYPLAYER.

So this was the last photo party shot of the night because a dumb motherfucker apparently wrote a 1 where there should have been a 5 on the sound permit for the BADU show at REDBULL and the cops shut it down. SO…

GOODNIGHT!

This is a great site.
