Ghostland Observatory………TOUCHDOWWWWWN!!
by MG001 July 22nd, 2009Texas football is an infectious thing. The nature of the sport is organized around team effort. Everyone going for the big push to get the big win.
So when my man Jeff Strange, whose Downstairs apparel is one of our handpicked local outlets, called and said he had a special customer who had become a fan of ours, and needed help getting something from us he needed- well we had to organize to make it happen.

Ghostland Observatory front man Aaron Behrens has been coming through Downstairs for awhile. After receiving our summer shipment, it would seem Aaron came in and discovered MadGods. Much to our delight he apparently copped like 3 of our tee’s on the spot. (full price, shun!!)

One of these tee’s— “SHE” by our artist SMUT—-
was a comfortable medium. But mediums don’t do on stage, my friends. Aaron, who provides vocals in addition to the occasional guitar, combined with Thomas Ross Turner on drums and synthesizer, plus an amazing lazer light show, put on about as interesting and stimulating a show 2 guys from Texas possibly could. In other words, these guys have exceptional Swagger. And exceptional swagger calls for an exceptional fit.
You see after blessing the stage of The Optimus Alive! Festival in Portugal wearing our “God Damned Animals” tee…. (see below)

… Aaron needed something special for the hometown crowd who would be sure to show up at their July 19th New Braunfels show. He wanted to wear SHE but not in a medium size that might suitable for getting coffee or grabbing a pack of Swishers at the corner store. Nah, he needed that rockstar fit that only a “schmall” can give you. A small which we were totally out of stock when Jeff called with the request.
But my man is a new and already loyal customer and fan so we had to make that extra effort for him. So – in record time we printed that shit special and finished it with same quality as any other MadGods tee.
Thanks Jeff. And Thanks Aaron. And thanks to all the production folks down the line–INDUSTRY! I think these shots and the rest that are sure to come were totally worth it. Enjoy the team effort…

Oh yeah, and thanks to the various folks who provided the pics!!!!!!!!!!!
