Much of MadGods inspiration is derived from the remnants of past culture. These veins of originality are no longer with us in the form of authentic style and rebellion that existed in the formative years of youth culture, music, skateboarding and the independent artist. Most only recognize the patterns left in the wake of original influence.

MadGods has always taken a fondness to the interpretation of our own subcultures by foreign voyeurs, more specifically, the methodical breakdown of western music and skateboarding imagery and styles by Japanese Otaku cool hunters at the turn of the millennium. Using this fondness as a filter of sorts, we touch on realms of thought that we once believed were slowly becoming extinct with a new generation of youth that don’t remember a world before the internet. Using a familiar aesthetic, we perfect the art of dressing sheep in wolf’s clothing.

He’s a founding member of Drum Bums DJ collective, DJ for our homie CRayzWalz, producer, foodie, brother, son, boyfriend to a really cool chick and he really is nice. F STOP2′s opening party was last night, i think. And i’ve been pretty busy so i missed it. And that sucks cuz i didn’t realize it until I started to post this. But these are really good friends, contributors to the MadGods movement and really good photographers so I will post this anyway and just say you should go see it if you like pictures as much as I do.

Finally, for now, is something there is plenty of time to plan for, and is totally worth doing, benefits all sorts of people and I am totally gonna miss because I have to go do MadGods work out of town.
Typhoon Morakot Fundraiser
The worst disaster in 50 years to hit Taiwan…. but these folks will make giving a little easier for you – have a delicous meal with good friends!!! This is at my favorite new restaraunt in the city. Fortune Seafood is my new DimSum spot. Been there almost every weekend since it opened and now you can go eat there and benefit the island of Taiwan that has recently been hit with its own Hurricane Katrina- if you will. 20% of your tab will go directly to a charity benefitting the rebuilding for and caring of displaced peoples in Taiwan.
