Dallas Contemporary

This past weekend MadGods made a quick trip up to Dallas to meet the the folks at Dallas Contemporary.

.

From their website:

Dallas Contemporary is a non-collecting art museum presenting new and challenging ideas from regional, national and international artists.  The institution is committed to engaging the public through exhibitions, lectures, educational programs and events.

.

Their director, Peter, contacted us awhile back looking for FAILURE – but we didn’t know why. Turns out the team at Dallas Contemporary is interested in featuring a FAILURE installation as part of their next round of exhibits.  A great honor, opportunity and helluva a lot of respect.  In addition to carte blanche access to a 120 ft long wall, you might see FAILURE producing their annual limited edition print (presented to their top donors), as well as the graphics for their marketing. Those projects as well as some other treats should all go to help further raise the profile of our art director. Here are some photos of our visit and the gallery as it appears today. We will be documenting the whole process leading up to the December 2011 opening.
