This will be Failures latest and maybe first solo show at Industry Print Shop on East 6th. He’s preparing art for a feature in Rare Magazine that could be the source of the art on display? I dunno, I never met the dude before so I can’t ask him. I see he’s been busy, tho.

Then I gotta speak on FERG who is absolutely fuckin killin it with his new SQUADTS figures. These are limited to 100 each and each edition sells out faster than the previous. The last one sold out in FOUR MINUTES!!! The hell?! If you can even find any of the first 3 on ebay (i’ve seen 1) prepare to dish out 3X-4X the original price. Youch…
Go to JAMUNGO.com to find out how to cop upcoming editions. Good luck with that.

And here, courtesy of TOYSREVIL, is a preview of the next edition. A duo and possibly my favorite editions yet. These were described as the core pieces, the originals. And even though maybe the simplest i think the most effective lil bastard warriors yet. Except they totally look like thugs with nothing to live for….(wait for halloween, tho!!!)

BOOM!!!

BOOM!!!

So over at most likely the best toy nerd blog ever ToysRevil- is an interview with local cultural resource FERG. This half of the big timer toy creators JAMUNGO talks about his new project ‘Squadts’. Click on the toysrevil link to check out the story of Squadts. If you don’t know much about ‘designer toys’ just click on that link and explore. If you cross reference the names mentioned in the article and study them you will be up on mad upper echelon toy knowledge.
If you already know what’s up, you will want to know as much as possible about these gems. FERG’s minimalist approach can be deceptive. The details, man. The detail is insane for such seemingly simple objects. If you have been following the string of hits this designer has produced recently you can only imagine how sick these are in physical form. I’ve seen these evolve for awhile now and I’ve seen what a passion project this has been for FERG.

So congrats to Fergbag, who is not only an incredible designer etc…etc…etc… but whose proximity to me will guarantee my eternal servitude to the culture of pop sculpture. He makes sure I will always have the coolest dust magnets of around. .

Checkout the ‘SMILEFUCKER‘ design we produced with FERG in our webstore. And keep checking for future MadGods/FERGbag collabos.
